Goldin Farms, formerly Lindsay Park Stud, is an esteemed 1257.5-acre horse breeding and training ground in South Australia. Established in 1965 by legendary Australian trainer Colin Hayes AM OBE, it is a world-class breeding and training complex that today draws accolades from industry experts the world over. With a long tradition and an established reputation for breeding and training racehorses of the finest bloodlines, it is an ideal equine environment for breeding and training.
Goldin Group, who purchased the Angaston property in 2013, has renovated the stud farm to focus on breeding top class thoroughbred racehorses. In 2015 Goldin Group acquired the neighbouring property, Tarrawatta, increasing Goldin Farms by 800 acres.
The Group appointed Andrew Perryman, formerly with Darley Woodlands in New South Wales, as General Manager to take on responsibility for the equine operations of the farm. A local from Adelaide, Andrew has over 20 years experience working in the horse breeding industry around the world and supervised the rearing of many successful racehorses.
Akeed Mofeed, champion of the Hong Kong Derby 2013 and G1 Hong Kong Cup 2013, has become the foundation stallion for the Barossa Valley property after retiring from racing in summer 2014.
